The zoom timer screen is black. What can I do?

  • Remove the round power plug from the unit, wait for 5 minutes, before plugging it in again. 
  • Check is the CU (black computer in the patch box, identified by a white sticker with text "FOR SALES & SERVICE CALL: ...") is on.
  • Disconnect power from the CU and reconnect. Wait until a blue light flashes on the front. If there is no light flashing, please contact PFM.

I have an echo in my headset, what can I do?

Please look here for the explanation for 3 different base stations. 

My camera screen is blue, how can I solve this?

  • Switch the display (s) off and on again.
  • Check the power supplies of the displays, quadsplitter (-s) and video converter (-s).
  • In the PFM patch cabinet you will find the quadsplitter (-s) on the top shelf on the right. Please use the switch on the back to reset. After that please press the PIP / VCR button once.

The sound of the speaker pole is bad, what can i do?

Reset the base station by pressing the reset button on the right side or take off the electricity.

I have a message on my camera display: "VLOS". What does this mean and what can I do?

"VLOS" means that the system has no connection to the camera (-s) of the PFM drive system.
What can you do:

If the small box on the screen (Picture In Picture) indicates "VLOS":
- check the power supply in the speaker pole.
If the large image indicates "VLOS".
- check the power supply in the PFM patch cabinet, this is the large black patch cabinet with glass door. This is usually located in window 1.

There is a beep coming from the patch cabinet, what can I do?

In the PFM patch cabinet you will find the quadsplitter (-s) on the top shelf on the right. Please use the switch on the back to reset. After that please press the PIP / VCR button once.

The display in the speaker pole shows no image.

  • Please use the green switch on the silver case in the speaker pole to reset the screen. 
  • Check if the light on the screen is lit in the speaker pole. Is there no light? Then there may be a power supply defect or an electrical breakdown. 
  • Check the copy screen of the speaker pole at window 1 (and / or window 2).
  • Check the light / power supply of the VGA splitter near the copy screen of the speaker pole (this is a gray box with a green light).

The copy screen of the speaker pole at window 1 and / or 2 does not provide an image. What can I do?

  • Switch the display (s) off and on again.
  • Check the power supply of the monitor (s), is there a light on the screen?
  • Check the green light / power supply of the VGA splitter near the copy screen of the speaker pole. 

My timer screen indicates: TSP is offline. What does this mean and what can I do?

The message "TSP is Offline" is because the TSP (white box in window 1 with sticker HME / Zoom), where the loops are converted to a digital signal are no longer connected to the CU (Zoom computer in patch box).

Please check the lights on the TSP:
- "+ 22V" lights up red - When off: power supply is loose or defective.
- "POWER" lights up red - When off: power supply is loose or defective.
- "LINK" lights green - When off: network cable is loose or defective.
- "DATA" flashes orange - When off: network cable is loose or defective.
- "STATUS" flashes green - When off: TSP was not started.
Check the network cables in the patch cabinet.
